In 1977-1978 the company Flentrop built a new mechanical organ for Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church in Durham, North Carolina. The organ could be constructed thanks to a donation in memory of Frank H. Kenan. The style of the organ is classical French. The instrument was dedicated with a concert by Fenner Douglass.
