The Sankt Ägidiuskirche in Schwoich consists of an old church with a much larger modern extension on the north side. The north wall of the old church has been broken open for the connection between the two parts. In 1992 Rieger Orgelbau placed a new organ in a large gallery in the new part. It has a remarkable red organ case with a contemporary design.
