In 1870 bouwde Aristide Cavaillé-Coll een orgel voor de woning van mr. John Turner Hopwood, Bracewell Hall in Bracewell, Lancashire. Op 7 november 1870 werd het instrument in gebruik genomen met een concert door dr. William Spark, stadsorganist te Leeds. Koningin Victoria was hierbij aanwezig. In 1875 breidde Cavaillé-Coll het instrument uit. In 1883 werd het verplaatst naar Ketton Hall in Leicestershire, waar mr. Hopwood naar verhuisde. Het gebouw werd samen met het orgel in 1900 verkocht aan de Ketton Cement Company. Het heeft tot 1926 dienst gedaan in Ketton. In dat jaar werd het verkocht aan Parr Hall te Warrington. De firma Willis plaatste het orgel over. In 1975 voerde dezelfde firma een restauratie uit. Daarbij werden de Barker-machines vervangen door electro-pneumatische toetstractuur.
