- Arp Schnitger built a two-manual organ with attached pedal for the church of Ganderkesee in 1699. It was expanded by Klapmeyer around 1750 with an independent pedal with six stops. The Führer company restored the organ in 1934/1935, followed by further restorations in 1948 and 1966.
- In 2003, a new restoration was started by the Führer company. Because the company stopped, the work was continued in 2004-2005 by Heiko Lorenz. Consultant was Harald Vogel. The Subbass has been newly created in Schnitger's style, and some other ranks have also been constructed faithfully. The key covering has been renewed. Finally, the wedge bellows have been reconstructed. Lorenz tuned the organ in a modified mean-tone temperament, following the example of the organ of the Sankt Cosmaekirche in Stade.
