In 1966, the company Walcker & Cie. built a new organ for the Sankt Matthäus-Kirche in Berlin-Tiergarten. This church was built in 1844-1846 to a design by Friedrich August Stüler. The building was almost completely destroyed during the Second World War. After reconstruction in 1956-1960 following plans of Jürgen Emmerich, the church was re-opened in 1960. The organ was overhauled by Alexander Schuke in 1986. The Sifflöte 1 1/3' was shifted to a 1', and the Terzian 2 fach was modified into a Quinte 1 1/3'.
