Built by: Etablissements E.-A. Roethinger (1914) - opus 70
In 1914, Alexander Roethinger built a new organ for the church of St. Martin in Erstein. The old organ, built in 1742 by Johann Georg Rohrer for the Église Saint-Léger in Guebwiller, was demolished, except for the beautiful organ case. This organ was relocated to Erstein by François Callinet in 1805. Three old ranks were taken over. Klem from Colmar built a organ case in Baroque style, with a positive that remained empty, based on the 1742 case. Advisor for the construction of the new organ was Victor Dusch, organist of the church. In 1949 the organ was converted by Roethinger to electro-pneumatic action. Furthermore, the Trumpet of the Récit and the Basson-Hautbois of the Positif have changed places.
