  • In 1842 Nicolas-Antoine Lété built a new organ for the Cathedral of Annecy, which he expanded in 1845 with a few stops. The setup was classical French with a discant keyboard for the Récit. In 1850 Beaucourt & Voegeli converted the organ. The Récit was enlarged to 54 keys. The same company modified the wind supply and the bellows in 1867. The organ was rebuilt by Merklin in 1887 and changed it into a romantic two-manual organ. He used the old windchest of the positive for the Récit Expressif. A new console was placed and the wind supply was renewed.
  • Bernard Tschanun overhauled the organ in 1912, and another overhaul took place in 1982. In 1986, a major restoration of the organ was carried out to Michel Giroud. The task was to reconstruct the organ to the situation of 1845, while preserving some of Beaucourt's improvements, including the Barker machine for the Grand-Orgue. The Positif de Dos has also been put back into use. On November 19, 1994, the completely renovated organ was put into service again with a concert by Louis Robilliard.
