The synagogue on rue Buffault in Paris was built in 1877. An organ was installed in 1970, which was composed of an old choir organ from John Abbey and a salon organ from Cavaillé-Coll-Mutin. In 1984 the instrument was renovated by R. Masset of the Gutschenritter company. He replaced the Voix Céleste with a Flûte 4', and expanded the Grand Orgue with a Fourniture. In 2019, the Doublette and the Fourniture were found to be non-functioning.
