  • The organ in the cathedral of Asola was built in 1524 by Giovanni-Battista Fachetti. The doors of the organ case were painted by Gerolamo Romanino. The carvings are by Zamara. In 1574 the organ was damaged by lightning, after which Graziado Antegnati restored it. Expansion plans from the eighteenth century were probably never fully implemented. The organ has always kept only one manual. In 1823 the Fratelli Serassi built a largely new organ in the 16th century case. The keyboard starts on contra-C with a short octave on the contra-octave.
  • In 2005 the organ was restored by Mascioni.
