Built by: Claude-François Clicquot ()
Dismantled (1887)
- In the cathedral of Évreux, Claude François Clicquot built a large organ. It was dismantled in 1887 and stored in the attic of the episcopal palace during the restoration of the nave of the church. Due to all kinds of problems, including expensive restoration of the choir and the general poor financial condition of the diocese, the organ was left in storage. In the end, it was never rebuilt again. Probably some of the material was destroyed already before 1924. The instrument was eventually sold in 1924 as scrap material for only 50 francs.
- Clicquot's organ cases remained in the church until World War II, but were lost due to war.
