- The church of the convent of the sisters Carmelietessen in Vilvoorde is dedicated to Our Lady of Consolation (Onze Lieve Vrouw van Troost). The church building dates from the years 1663-1665. There is an organ from 1633, built by Jean-Baptiste Marquet, that was rebuilt in 1776 by Jean-Baptiste Goynaut.
- In 1908 the organ was bought by the company Jos. Stevens converted and expanded with a Récit Expressif. The disposition was made romantic, and much of the pipe work that has survived has been modified.
- On May 7, 2006, the church was elevated to a basilica. The organ has been restored by Jos Moors in the years 2017-2019. The situation from 1776 has been reconstructed. Only the Montre of Stevens has been added to the original stop list. The instrument was taken into use again on October 12, 2019. A special concert was organized in which five organists from Vilvoorde contributed: Michel Grillet, Michel Goossens, Ivan De Goeyse, Niels Grundtvig Nielsen and Peter De Waele.
