De Heilandskirche in Dresden-Cotta is gebouwd naar een ontwerp van Rudolf Kolbe uit 1912. De bouw startte in 1914, maar werd vanwege de Eerste Wereldoorlog stilgelegd en eerst in 1925 weer hervat. Op 26 mei 1927 is de kerkgewijd. De firma Jehmlich kreeg de opdracht voor de bouw van een orgel, gebouwd in de jaren 1927-1932.
