The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1853 by Ludwig Mooser
In 1988/1989 the company Reil built a completely new interior in the organ case of Ludwig Mooser in the Evangelische Kirche in Wallern an der Trattnach. Mooser's original 1853 internals had been demolished in the early twentieth century and replaced by a poor quality pneumatic instrument. The refurbished organ was presented on May 20, 1989 by the church's organists, Sabine and Siegfried Petri. The organ was officially inaugurated on Sunday 21 May 1989. At the end of this meeting Martin Hopfmüller, organ teacher in Graz, played a special improvisation concert.
