The old Saint-Michel in Le Havre had a beautiful Cavaillé-Coll organ. Church and organ were lost in the Second World War in bombing raids. In 1974, Adrien Maciet installed a salon organ by Roethinger from 1954 in the new church. The church building dates from 1964. The architect was Henri Colboc. The first services in the church were on October 4th, 1964, and the building was consecrated on April 25, 1965.
