Het orgel is oorspronkelijk in 1630 door Guillaume Lesselier gebouwd voor de kerk van Saint-Herbland in Rouen. In 1685 werd het door Clément en German Lefebvre uitgebreid en omgebouwd. In 1791 kocht de parochie van Bolbec het instrument. Het had toen vier manualen van 48 toetsen en een pedaal van 29 toetsen. In totaal waren er 36 stemmen. Na verschillende restauraties en wijzigingen is het orgel in 1998/1999 gereconstrueerd door Boisseau-Cattiaux.
