Built by: Pels & Van Leeuwen (1993) - opus 935
A chest organ was purchased in 1993 for the music school in Deventer, built by Pels & Van Leeuwen. It was exchanged for the school's old organ, built by Willem van Leeuwen in 1964. The new organ is easier to move. It was inaugurated on October 29, 1993 with a special concert in the town hall. This concert was given by organ teachers Ton Zwartkruis (also harpsichord), Jan Achterkamp and Hans van Dijk in collaboration with other teachers from the music school, namely Paschal Vliegen (recorder), Leny Stappers (mezzo-soprano), Anke de Bruin (flute) and Jeroen van Dijk (baroque cello). This was followed by a concert in the Bergkerk on October 30 with Jan Achterkamp on the organ and the Hosanna choir from Eefde.
