  • On November 7, 1907, Bernard Pels placed a small organ in the chapel of the sanatorium 'Huize Overdonk' in Dongen. It was an organ with four stops and an attached pedal. The sanatorium was a psychiatric clinic of the Brothers of Our Lady of Lourdes, located in Dongen since 1892. In 1904 a chapel was built at the complex.
  • Around 1938-1939, the pipe organ was removed from the chapel, and replaced by a Hammond organ. The pipe organ was sold via the company Goosen & Swagerman from 's-Hertogenbosch to the parish church of Barger-Oosterveld, where it was installed in May 1939. The instrument has been in use in this church until 1976, when it was replaced by an electronic Heyligers organ.
  • The chapel in Dongen has been demolished in 1998.
