- In 1897 the Bakker & Timmenga firm built an organ for the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Zuidland. It was the first organ in this church that could be purchased thanks to a donation from Leendert van der Meer Cz. The organ was put into use on April 11, 1897. It was played at this occasion by Mr. M. Groeneveld, organist in Vlaardingen.
- In 1919 the organ was lost in a fire.
