- An organ by an unknown builder was installed in the Handwegkerk in Amstelveen in 1899. The origin is not clear, but a German organ builder probably built it for a Roman Catholic Church. Church and organ were put into use on December 14, 1899.
- The company Valckx & Van Kouteren delivered a new organ to the church in 1938, and they placed the old instrument in the Gereformeerde Kerk in Diever. They expanded the organ with two registers, including a Baarpijp 8' that was partly placed in the newly designed facade. The organ was inaugurated in Diever on July 17, 1938. The instrument was played during this service by Arie Bouman, who acted as consultant during the rebuilt and relocation.
- The organ was renovated in 1956 by Johan Reil under the advice of Mr. R. Beintema from Leeuwarden. The entire organ has been rebuilt with a number of new stops, and a new facade has been manufactured. The instrument was put back into use on Thursday, July 26, 1956. Mr Beintema played the organ on this occasion.
- After 1956, the organ never functioned well, and many problems occured. In 1974 the old organ was demolished and replaced by a completely new organ by Leeflang.
