Built by: Jean Telder (1983) - opus 1

In 1983, Jean Telder built a continuo organ (box organ) for himself, which he used as cantor of the Goede Herderkerk in Hilversum. When this church was closed in 1996, the organ was transferred to the Maria Christina Church in Den Dolder, where it was also used by the choir ('cantorij'). The cantor here used it until 2004, after which the choir was abolished. The organ was subsequently purchased on the advice of Ben Kots, cantor in Kerk-Avezaath, for the church in this village, where it was taken into use on September 5, 2004. The organ remained the property of Jean Telder until 2004.
