- De kapel van het Sint Jansziekenhuis in Zaandam werd in 1932 gebouwd. In 1949 plaatste de firma Pels & Zn. een tweeklaviers orgel met twaalf stemmen in de kapel. Het werd op 8 september 1949 in gebruik genomen met een bespeling door Albert de Klerk.
- Na een fusie tot het Zaans Medisch Centrum zijn de gebouwen van het ziekenhuis in 1974 buiten gebruik gesteld en later afgebroken. Het orgel is waarschijnlijk gesloopt.
