- In 1961, the Dutch Reformed congregation (Nederlands Hervormde Gemeente) in Blauwkapel bought a second-hand organ in Belgium. It was built in 1708-1711 for the Abbey Church of Saint Trudo (Sint Trudoabdij of Stalijzerklooster) in Bruges. The organ is attributed to Jacob Van Eynde. The monastery was closed in the French period, and the organ moved to the Sint Amanduskerk in Beernem in 1796. After a major renovation in 1852, Maximilien Van Peteghem transferred it to the Sint Mariakerk in Sint-Maria-Aalter. Much of the original material has been lost.
- After the comapny Anneessens had built a new organ for the church of Sint-Maria-Aalter in 1955, the organ was put into storage at their factory. This was the situation when it was acquired for Blauwkapel. The instrument was restored by De Koff in 1968/1969 under the advice of Maarten Vente. The alleged original disposition and pitch have been restored. The organ has no pedal. The organ was restored again in 2007/2008, this time by the Elbertse company under the advice of Peter van Dijk. The purpose was to restore the state of 1852, but this was not entirely possible. The new ranks from 1968 have been re-voiced, the Cornet has been changed to a Nasard and the Fourniture has been modified. On March 16, 2008 the organ was put back into use with a recital by Arie van Viegen, the regular organist.
