De oude kerk van Groote Lindt werd door een brand verwoest in 1912. Na de bouw van een nieuwe kerk naar ontwerp van J.F.L. Fourring is een nieuw orgel geplaatst door de firma Standaart. Het werd op 6 september 1914 in gebruik genomen.
