- De firma Pels & Zn. bouwde in 1933-1934 een orgel voor de Gereformeerde Kerk aan de Oudegracht in Alkmaar. Het orgel is opgeleverd op 12 maart 1934. Het kerkgebouw is eveneens in 1934 opgeleverd. Het werd ontworpen door de architect B.W. Plooij. De kerk kreeg later de naam 'Verlosserkerk'. Op 16 maart 1934 was de eerste kerkdienst in de nieuwe kerk, begeleid door het nieuwe orgel.
- Het kerkgebouw is in 1991 gesloten en werd daarna verbouwd tot een appartementencomplex. Het orgel is afgebroken.
