- The organ of the Tuindorp church was probably built by Conrad Ruprecht Jr. for the Garnizoenskerk in Roermond. The instrument was built in 1702, but around 1740 it was in the Minrebroederskerk in Roermond, currently in use by the Dutch Reformed Congregation. Upon delivery, it had two manuals with 25 stops and an pulldown box pedal. During the French occupation, the Minderbroeders were expelled in 1797, and their church was closed.
- The organ was saved and given a new place in the Munsterkerk in Roermond. It was placed there by F. Louvigny. F. and L. Louvigny renovated the instrument either during this period, or between 1840 and 1850. In 1865, the Munsterkerk was restored, and the organ was temporarily set up in a corner of the choir. When the restoration was completed in 1892, the church received a new modern organ, built by Franssen.
- The old instrument was sold, and Franssen placed it in 1891 in the newly built Gereformeerde Oosterkerk, Maliebaan 53, in Utrecht. The organ was donated to this church by an unknown person. Due to a lack of space in the new church, the organ was considerably modified: the case was shortened, the keyboards were moved to the side of the organ and the mechanism was renewed. A sham prospect was made on the site of the old manuals. The stop list has probably also been modified. In 1921 the instrument was modified again by A. Standaart. A major restoration took place in 1951/1952 by Ernst Leeflang from Middelharnis. They reconstructed the original stopslist, made a new independent pedal, reconstructed the console and slightly adjusted the facade.
- The Oosterkerk was closed in 1977 and demolished in 1981. The organ was sold to the Tuindorpkerk in Utrecht. The old Flentrop organ of the Tuindorp church had been demolished and loose pipes have been sold for the organ fund. The Leeflang company installed the Ruprecht organ in the Tuindorp church after a complete restoration, in which the technical condition was reconstructed to the situation of Louvigny (1800). Restoration of the pipework had to be postponed due to lack of money. However, the independent pedal has already been removed and replaced with a pulldown pedal. On August 30, 1985 the organ in the Tuindorp church was put into use. It was played by Peter van Dijk. The company Verschueren dismantled the instrument on January 4, 1999. The objective was to reconstruct the situation of 1822. New reeds were made, and again some stops had to be placed on the pedal to make it independent. The organ was put into use again on 7 September 2000 with a recital by Peter van Dijk and David Jansen.
