- The organ in the Sint Bonifatiuskerk in Zaandam was built in 1786 for the Roman Catholic Station of Saint Boniface. In 1900, a new church was consecrated, designed in gothic revival style by Margry and Snickers. The organ was transferred to the new church by Johannes Hilboesen. The disposition was slightly altered: the Cornet of the main work was replaced by a Salicionaal 8' and one rank was removed from the Mixtuur. On the Bovenwerk, the Prestant 4' was moved up to a Prestant 8' and the Flute Travers and Gemshoorn were replaced by a Viola and a Celeste. The Hoofdwerk was expanded with a Trumpet 8'.
- The organ was restored in 1974 by Vermeulen, under consultancy of Hans van der Harst. During this restoration, the original stoplist was reconstructed, after which the organ was put back into use on May 17, 1974.
- In 1994 Flentrop carried out major maintenance works.
