- Dirk Sjoerd Ypma built an organ for the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Midwoud in 1848/1849. In 1864 a Trumpet 8' was installed, probably on an empty slide. After the construction of a new church in 1868, the organ was transferred to the new church building in 1869 by Lodewijk Ypma.
- The organ was lost due to a fire on February 25, 1984, when the entire interior of the church building was destroyed.
