- The Van Dam company built a new organ for the Reformed Church in Gorredijk in 1867. During the construction, use was made of existing material, such as windchests and part of the pipework by Hillebrand, from Rauwerd (1816) and some ranks by Bader from Ternaard (1660). With a recital by Mr. Suringbroek, organist in Leeuwarden, the organ was put into use on June 30, 1867. The Reformed Church of Gorredijk was closed in 1972 and demolished in 1985.
- In 1967 the organ was sold to Kinderdijk, where it was installed by Will Boegem. The organ was expanded with an independent pedal with five stops, made with pipework by Valck & Van Kouteren from 1923, from the previous organ in Kinderdijk. It was officially inaugurated on June 21, 1968 with a concert by Jan Bonefaas.
- In 1983 Flentrop carried out a restoration in which the independent pedal was removed. The original state of 1867 was completely restored. The organ was put back into use on March 26, 1983. Under the advice of Dick Bakker, Bakker & Timmenga carried out a restoration in 1999/2000.
