- In 1939 the Verschueren company installed an organ in the chapel of the hospital, Walramstraat 23 in Sittard. It was built under the advice of Dr. C. Huigens O.F.M. The dedication was played by Kees de Rooy. The hospital was part of a cloister, of the congregation 'Zusters van de Goddelijke Voorzienigheid', also know as the French Cloister. The organ was located in a gallery on the west side of the chapel. In 2004 the instrument was restored.
- The hospital was closed in 2009. Plans were made to save the buildings from demolition. On June 19, 2010, a fire broke out in the chapel, that seriously damaged the organ. The console and prospect pipes were lost, but the rest of the instrument could be saved. It was transfered in 2018 to the company Nijsse. This company rebuilt the instrument to a continuo organ with a new console. In 2022 the organ was installed in the Heilig Hartkerk in Sittard-Overhoven. On August 7, 2022, the instrument was dedicated here. Efrem Verleng played the organ during the service. In the afternoon a concert was played by Tjeu Zeijen, organ, with Harrie Ries, trombone, and some young talents.
