Charles Kegg learned his skills as organ builder during a number of years at the Schantz Organ Company and Casavant Frères. He started his own company in 1990, located in Hartville in Ohio. In the first thirty years of existance, 66 opus numbers were realized, including a number of rebuilts, but mostly new organs.
