Josef Huber was an organ maker in Eisenstadt. He was born in Ottensheim on April 7, 1898. His father, also called Josef, was a carpenter, and worked for Josef Mauracher, among others. Josef jr. learned the organ builder's trade at this company. In 1924 he started his own company in Eisenstadt. The company was taken over in 1959 by his son Herbert. Joseph died on May 29, 1967.
