Johann Christian Kayser was born on May 13, 1750 in Ohorn in Saxonia, Germany. He learned his skills at Andreas Kayser and Johann Gottlieb Mauer, and started his own workplace in Dresden in 1776. His work is inspired by Silbermann. A number of organs was built by him in the region. After his death in Dresden on August 8, 1813, his sons Friedrich Traugott and Carl August continued the company.
