  • Torshov Kirke in Oslo was built in 1957-1958. The church was designed by Ulf Nyquist and Per Sunde. The church was dedicated on Whit Monday 1958. The old organ of the church, built by J.H. Jørgensen, has been replaced in 2023-2024 by a new instrument, built by Rensch Orgelbau. Advisor during the construction was Ole Spydevold.
  • The well-known Norwegian organist and composer Knud Nystedt (1915-2014) was organist in this church from 1958 to 1982.
