The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1808 by Franz Xaver Bernauer
Franz Xaver Bernauer built an organ with eleven stops for the Sankt Vituskirche in Wettelbrunn in 1808. It had one manual and an independent pedal. The instrument was renewed in 1922 by Xavier Mönch. He built a pneumatic two-manual organ in the old case, also with eleven registers. Franz Winterhalter carried out a renovation in 1968, with some alterations in the stop list. Due to the poor condition of the organ, it was decided to have a completely new mechanical organ built by Orgelbau Kuhn. The work was carried out in 2022 and early 2023. Kuhn built a two-manual organ in the old organ case of 1808. Three manual registers are placed on alternating slides, so that they can be used on both keyboards. The organ was dedicated on March 26, 2023.
