The previous organ of Lycksele Kyrka was built by Åkerman & Lund in 1879-1880. It originally had twelve registers on two manuals and pedal. In 1938 it was converted and expanded to 22 registers. The disposition was altered in 1950. The instrument was broken down and replaced in 1978. Only the old facade has been preserved at the rear of the organ gallery.
