In 1979-1980 bouwde Zimmer & Sons een nieuw orgel voor de rooms-katholieke kathedraal Saint Patrick in Charlotte. Het orgel is gebouwd met sleepladen. Het werd gewijd op 2 maart 1980, waarna Marilyn Mason het inauguratieconcert verzorgde.
