In the Basilica Collegiata di Santa Maria dell'Elemosina in Catania there is a beautiful organ, which was built in its oldest form in the seventeenth century by an unknown organ builder. The instrument was expanded in 1795 by Claudio Cinquemani. It was renovated and repaired in the 19th century by Giovanni Platania Rocca (1822), Dino Rizzo (1830) and Giovanni Giudici (1886).
