In Vallvik there was a small church from 1955. It was referred to as Kapell. In 1968 the municipality became part of the municipality of Söderala. The building was closed after a final service on April 17, 2005 and then sold. There was a pipe organ in the chapel, which was built in 1965 by Olof Hammarberg. In that year it served as a temporary organ in Högalids Kyrkan in Stockholm. In 1966 it was placed in Vallvik.
