The previous organ of the Sankt Michaelskirche in Hofheim was built in 1844 by Bernard Dreymann. It was placed in Hofheim by Förster & Nikolaus in 1901 and was originally situated somewhere in Oberhessen. The organ was demolished after 1960. Part of the pipework was used in a rebuilding of the Seuffert organ from Edigheim, which was placed in the church of Hofheim by Werner Owart.
