- Gebrüder Stumm (according to Bösken, the builder is uncertain, and he mentions Schmahl from Grumbach as a possibility) built an organ in 1754 for the Reformierte Kirche in Neunkirchen am Potzberg. In 1823 the instrument was transferred to the Protestant Kirche in Kusel by Franz Heinrich and Carl Stumm. It then had nine registers on the manual and two on the pedal. In 1845 the organ was transferred to the Simultankirche in Heßheim.
- The Simultankirche was converted into a Roman Catholic parish church in 1954, after the Protestant Kirche had inaugurated its own building (Christuskirche). Stumm's organ was converted in 1959 by Wolfgang Scherpf into a two-manual organ. Much of Stumm's pipework and the organ case are still present. In 1982-1983 the instrument was overhauled by Gerhard Kuhn.
