Gerhard Kuhn was born on January 27, 1943. He worked for the Walcker firm and then for Scherpf in Speyer and Wehr in Haßloch. He completed his master's thesis in 1976 and established himself in 1978 as an independent organ maker in Esthal in the Palatinate. The company was dissolved on April 30, 2012.
