Built by: Thomas P. Sanborn (1883)
Thomas Sanborn built an organ for the First Church Evangelical Association in Indianapolis in 1883. In 1920 the organ was replaced here and it was sold to Immanuel Presbyterian Church, also in Indianapolis. In 1987 it was transferred to Saint Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Zionsville. It was restored by Goulding & Wood. Due to an extension of this church building, the organ was no longer sufficient, and a new organ was ordered from John Paul Buzzard. The old Sanborn organ moved again, and was sold to Indiana University in Bloomington in 2006. It was given a place here in the church on campus, Saint Mark's United Methodist Church. It was restored by Michael Rathke before installation.
