- Aneby Kyrka was built in 1958 according to a design by Johannes Dahl. In 1963 Magnussons Orgelbyggeri built a two-manual organ with twelve stops. It was placed on a gallery above the entrance. Consultant was Jan Håkan Åberg.
- The church was replaced in 1996-1997 by a new building designed by Lennart Arfwidsson. This church had no room for a gallery, so the organ was placed on the church floor. It was located on the right side of the church hall. The church was dedicated on October 11, 1997.
- The pipe organ was replaced by a digital Johannus organ in 2023. This was put into use on November 26, 2023. Anders Gustafsson Forslin played the inauguration concert on the new instrument. Magnusson's organ has been sold to a music school near Gothenburg.
