In the years 1854-1857 Johan Ferdinand Ahlstrand built an organ with ten stops for Skällinge Kyrka. This organ was lost in a fire in 1860. After the restoration of the church building, a 'melodium' was used for the accompaniment for some time. It was not until 1888 that a new pipe organ was inaugurated. This was built by Salomon Molander. It was an eight-stop organ. The front of this instrument is still present. In 1928 it was converted and expanded by Levin Johansson. In 1951, the Tostared company built a new organ behind the old facade. This was converted in 1963 by the same company. It was a two-manual organ with nineteen registers. In 1988 a new mechanical organ was built with twenty-one registers, also by Tostared.
