Built by: Georg Stahlhuth & Sohn (1913)
Destroyed (1945)

  • In 1912-1913 the Stahlhuth company built a new organ for the Sankt Clemenskirche in Mayen. The previous organ from 1876 was transferred to the Herz-Jesu-Kirche, but twelve stops from this organ have been taken over by Stahlhuth. The organ was inaugurated on August 3, 1913. It was played on this occasion by the organ builder himself, Eduard Stahlhuth, by Willibrord Ballmann from Maria Laach and by Mr. Müller from Boppard, music teacher at the seminary.
  • The organ was lost due to bombing raids on the city in 1944-1945.
