Built by: Andreas Hildebrandt (1747)
Dismantled and lost (1944)

In 1746-1747 Andreas Hildebrandt built a new organ for the Sankt Barbarakirche in Danzig. It was a two manual organ with 39 stops. It has been largely preserved in its original state over the years. Around 1900, four stops were replaced by romantic registers. Josef Goebel carried out a restoration in 1931. He replaced the four replaced stops with new baroque ones. The organ was disassembled in 1943-1944. A part was stored in the Evangelische Kirche in Fürstenwerder, where it has been lost. The pipework was stored in the church itself, in the tower. This survived the bombing, but was used after the war to rebuild various organs in the city.
