In 2019-2022 a new main organ has been built by Mühleisen Orgelbau for the Reinoldi-Kirche in Dortmund. The facade of the new organ is a design of Bernhard Hirche from Hamburg. The new construction replaced an organ by Walcker from 1958. It has four manuals, of which three are mechanical. The organ has 76 stops, including 17 extensions and 5 transmissions. About 30 stops of the Walcker organ have been renovated and reused. The main organ can also be played from a movable console on the church floor, that is installed near the choir organ. Theorgan has been inaugurated on March 20, 2022, with a concert by Martin Schmeding.
