- Under the direction of Friedrich Högner and Heinz Neubauer the Steinmeyer company built a new organ for the Neupfarrkirche in Regensburg in 1959. In fact, they rebuilt and enlarged the existing organ, that was installed in 1927 as opus 1440 of the same company. The organ case was split in 1959 in two parts. The instrument was renovated in 1973 by Eduard Hirnschrodt.
- In 1986, a new organ by Jann replaced the Steinmeyer organ.
