Dismantled and sold? (1905?)

  • For the chapel of the Sœurs du Sacré-Cœur in Pau, a pipe organ was built by the company Stolz Frères, that could be dedicated on November 3rd, 1883. The inaugurational concert was played by three organists: Jérôme Antoine Emmanuel de Lescazes, Léandre Czerniewski and mr. Chabeaux. The organ had sixteen ranks on two manuals and pedal, with a Barker Machine.
  • Chapel and cloister are long gone. Nothing is certain about the fate of the organ, but it is almost certain that the instrument was dismantled and sold in 1905, after the closure of the monastry.
