Built by: Emil Nielsen (1906)

The former house organ of the jazz musician and comedian Helge Schneider was moved from Mülheim an der Ruhr to Prenzlau in August 2017. The instrument is privately owned by cantor Hannes Ludwig and was placed on loan in the Margarethenkapel of the Marienkirche in Prenzlau. The organ was originally built in 1906 by Emil Nielsen for the Danish village church of Øster Starup. In this church, a new organ was installed in 1982 by Marcussen & Søn. Probably the Nielsen instrument was sold at that time. It is currently mounted on a mobile platform. It can also be used as a choir organ in the nave.
